In India celebrations are connected to some caste or tribe because from the old age itself, it was assigned to the four castes. There are different modes of celebrations for Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaisha and Sudra according to their life styles and cultures. It is according to the several duties assigned to the caste. Just like Rakhi celebrations is of Brahman because tying a Rakhi is a symbol of pure or spiritual relations. From all the 4 tribes it was Brahmins who were considered as pure and supreme. Dashara was that of Kshatriya because they were the warriors or those who takes care of battles and wars and Dussehara itself is connected with killing and velour. Deepavali was the celebrations of Vaishyas since earning money is the duty of the business men for that they were worshipping Lakshmi the Goddess of wealth and so about the Holy which was considered as that of sudra. But now-a-days there is no such restrictions all are celebrating all the occasions, because love, happiness and achievement is not there because of the loss of spirituality from the celebrations. It has become an old custom to be retained.
Actually there is a spiritual secret behind every celebration for Holy. It was said that there was a kind named Hiranya Kashyap who considered himself as god. He got a blessing so that any one could not kill him. He had a son named Prahlad who believed in God very much. To consider his father as God was not acceptable to him. His father gave him extreme punishments. He was thrown into the cage of poisonous snakes. Once he was dropped down from the peak of mountains. Once his aunty named Holica, who was blessed not to burn sat on a fire taking him in the cap. She was burnt to ashes but not even a hair of Prahlad. Holy is celebrated as a memorial to this instance. There are all stories but the reality i.e. When there is extreme impurity in creation the men thinks himself as almighty authority and speak ill of the supreme soul and blames him and even his pious people were not exempted they don’t even given co-operation to him religiously. At this time supreme soul himself takes divine birth by taking a common body. It is called confluence age, when the Kalyuga is ending and Satyug begins i.e. now. It is now he gives us the blanket of knowledge in order to escape from the fire of five vices that is also to those who recognize him. It is only with this blanket we can escape from the fire of vices burning in creation because this fire vices or Maya is very powerful in reality. It is this vicious world – Holica will burn into ashes and viceless world will get established through the power of yoga or remembrance.
On the day of holy dried cow dung balls were burned. It is believed that by burning this grief, poverty and impurity will go away but actually by burning cow dung balls won’t do but if we burn bad actions illusions in our mind by the fire of knowledge and yoga then life will become blissful, happy and pure.
Holy is also considered as celebration to destroy the cruel, vicious giants because we are destroying the five vices by knowledge given by the supreme soul and imbibe good qualities for new world so that it is also called as Somnath Dham.
Holica also means fried food so that on the day of holy wheat, gram etc., were fried. Actually by knowledge and yoga given by the Supreme Soul the karma is also changed into karma. Just like fried seed never gives rise to a tree. When we sit in the fix of knowledge and yoga karma never becomes sinful but it becomes karma.
On the day of holy we paint each other with colored power. Actually this is to show that we souls were colored by knowledge given by the supreme soul himself along with colorings we exchange the fried grains to celebrate the auspicious reunion. Actually the auspicious reunion happens only when the mind is clear and loveful to each other and possible only if the supreme soul is coloring us with knowledge and the auspicious reunion is also with him only. But now a days instead of color it is the red blood which is used actually they people are playing holy with blood so the Kabir Das said that:
‘Color called as a Orange,
Moving is called as a train,
Without milk made khoya (sweet),
Watching Kabir wept’.
On the day of Holy we entertain ourselves by making taboos especially of Brahma, Vishnu and Shanker because supreme soul makes his holy through these three. The indication of it is this people a cloth around the abdomen of a man making him father to a large extend. Then as a custom asks him what is dead inside his stomach. All laugh at him when he says that it is an iron piece and says that your caste will end with this. Actually it is also an indication of the present happenings of the world Kalyuga is called as Iron Age. At this time from the intellect of men energies the destructive inventions that will destroy the whole humanity of several deities also make at this time. Like this our ancestors were remembered their taboo. There forms are made so that the aim of life emerge again in front of us. So we should celebrate by knowing the real identity or secret of it so that the evil thoughts, evil actions will come to an end. We should color each other with the color of knowledge given to us by supreme soul i.e. the color of sat sang it is the real holy. Holy itself means pure. Holy itself is forgetting the past actions. Holy means to become that of supreme soul. Just like the winter ends before spring. Before the new world this old aged world will come to an end. Just like on the day of Holy we make Koki (a kind of sweet) and cover it with wheat flour and drop it in fire so that this mortal body will end up remaining the immortal soul.
Thus supreme is coloring every body with the color of knowledge. We should color ourselves so strong that even when this body ends up the color remains. Then only we can say that we celebrated the really holy. We are celebrating real holy on each centers of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, which is established and looked after by the supreme soul himself. All of you are invited hearty to celebrate a really holy everyday so to celebrate the holy in accordance with sreenath and to become holy (Pure) on the day of holy.
